RIFM To Host Lecture on Maternal & Developmental Toxicity on Sept. 2

Kirsten Hartman-Van Dycke, PhD, and Ladan Fakhrzadeh will present on how biology considerations help scientists interpret developmental findings.

When does a developmental finding represent a direct concern and when is it secondary to broader toxicity at an extreme dose?

Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) scientists and experts will lead a discussion on the topic on Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 9:30 to 10:30 am EDT for “From Findings to Meaning: Interpretation of Maternal and Developmental Toxicity.”

Kirsten Hartman-Van Dycke, PhD, and Ladan Fakhrzadeh, PhD, DABT, will present on how dose, biology, mode of action and weight-of-evidence considerations help scientists interpret developmental findings and evaluate their relevance to humans.

Danielle Botelho, PhD, will moderate a panel discussion with the presenters, Aldert H. Piersma, PhD, and Kaushal Joshi, PhD, DABT.
